BMW5 Timetable

Friday

5pm onwards Meet up, put up tents, show off any new innovations
8pm ish Head to a local hostelry

Saturday

9.30 Leave campsite in shared cars for Coed y Brenin.
10.00 Meet up with any non-campers at the cafe/visitor centre and split up into groups
For example (depending on riders how come)
  • Shorter but fun and hard.
  • Longer and fun and hard.
  • Easy and fairly hilly.
Note that Wales isn't flat. This does make the riding more fun, but it can be tiring!

Meet back at the cafe for some sandwiches and snacks.

Perhaps a bit more playing before returning to campsite for showers. (Perhaps some downhill/dual slalom on the dedicated course...).

Late evening TBD - probably recovering. A pub will probably be involved at some point. Ditto food.

Sunday

8.30 An early start from the campsite cos it'll be a long day and you'll want to get home for work/school at some point.
The plan basically consists of driving to the base of Snowdon and then riding up it (well, walk up it anyway) followed by riding down it whooping stupidly all the way.

Below are a couple of pictures of Coed y Brenin. It really is good riding...
